Emelyn Story was the life and the joy of William Wetmore Story, poet and sculptor, who engraved in Time the rememberings of his beloved wife, dead in 1894...

Taken in the protestant english cemetery, Rome. This sculpture enclose a wonderful feeling of loneliness and sweetness lulled in time, as if the message left by Story was meant to be wrapped in an ethernal moment. Really love this statue...

thank you very much!! I also love it a lot..I really love going to that cemetery and look at the gravestones, because they're particular...they're full of emotions and rememberings *__*
